The Yankee Problem in America

Inspired by Professor Clyde Wilson’s seminal essay on cultural imperialism, “The Yankee Problem in America,” I decided this weekend to create a new Amazon book list relating to this important but neglected academic subject. Fred Reed’s poignant autographical vignette of growing up in a small Southern town today at LRC was icing on the cake.
