LRC and the Republic of Letters

I have received over sixty wonderful emails from readers around the world urging me not to cease writing and expressing their deep gratitude for my previous efforts of almost two decades of 2000+ articles and blogs of published work. Very humbling.  Accordingly I have seriously reconsidered returning to LRC but with no special privilege status. I, as most writers I am aware of, do not mind or object to criticism of one’s work. We welcome vigorous intellectual debate. We only deplore mean-spirited or baseless attacks, so redundant in our discordant and demented “cancel culture” environs of today.

I have always looked upon LewRockwell.com as one of the last bastions of the Republic of Letters, where our predecessors gathered in salons, coffeehouses, and other venues to discuss and foster ideas challenging coercive power and the elite forces of tyranny and oppression inflicting the people at large.
