Bishop Joseph Brennan of Fresno confirms Charlie Kirk was close to becoming a Catholic a week prior to his assassination. Candace Owens, a close friend and associate of Charlie’s who has been investigating his murder, reported this shortly after Kirk’s death on September 10, 2025. John Yep, the founder and president of Catholics for Catholics, also confirmed Charlie’s expected conversion to Catholicism months ago on the podcast of Baron Coleman, an attorney who has been investigating the assassination.
