All In the Family

The vacuous nature of what passes for presidential campaigns and debates may have bottomed out in current efforts to enlist family members to endorse their relatives for this high office. It seems to have begun with Bill Clinton standing next to Hillary at speaking engagements (i.e., if Bill and Hillary can stand one another for power-seeking purposes, how can anyone else object?)  Then Jeb Bush was able to secure the endorsement of his mother, while Bernie Sanders brought his wife in to let the rest of America know just how much her husband sincerely loves his fellow-man!  The television network bimbos assigned to report on such major developments did so with the kind of enthusiasm that attends a high-school senior-class-presidency campaign!
