Desantis, Black History, and Thomas Jefferson

The Demo-Bolsheviks are trashing Governor Desantis because the black scholars who wrote the black history curriculum for the government schools in Florida mentioned that slaves often learned skilled crafts.  The Demo-Bolsheviks are screaming that means that what is being taught in Florida schools is that slavery was beneficial to the slaves.

The last time I visited Monticello, about ten years ago, the guided tour was very different from my first visit in 1974.  The guide went on and on about what skilled furniture makers and other tradesmen the slaves at Monticello were.  Exactly what the new Florida curriculum mentions in passing.  The guide did not conclude that, therefore, slavery was beneficial to the slaves, as the current crop of commie pinkos insists.  It’s all about trashing Desantis as a racist and preventing him from running for president.
