Defiance, Defiance Everywhere!

In response to Unmasking Texas, Bo writes,

I live in Texas. Close to Houston but in Montgomery County. Our County Judge (although a politician) did the right thing: He told the police NOT to enforce the mask thing. Because it is unconstitutional. He got that right. So I’m not wearing a fear mask. When I go to the store (Kroger, HEB, or Home Depot) I still don’t. Nobody says anything. Of course, we’re at least 30% of the customers not wearing one. Plus 50% of the employees don’t either.

My wife and I have [a specialty shop] in Harris County (that is Houston) and they’re supposedly very strict on masks. Well, I still don’t wear a fear mask and 75% of my customers aren’t either. Of course, they’re threatening us to pay a $1.000 fine if customers are not wearing a mask. Oh well …. we have a big store so people can stay 6 feet away (if they want to).

I see civil disobedience every day. That makes me have some hopes for this country.

Me too!
