there are ways around the mask requirements. The governor’s order has exceptions. Two examples: Medical condition (I require a certain oxygen level in my blood. Masks interfere with that)

Should anyone ask you for an explanation, I’d suggest citing HIPAA rather than freely offering one.  “Masks prevent proper breathing” provides room for disagreement and debate—unless a debate is what you want. In that case, go for it!

Some counties are exempt. There is a list here. I drive about 30 minutes to shop in one.

If you choose this option, you may want to write the chamber of commerce or even the thieves—sorry, tax department in the county you’re boycotting to let them know your business goes elsewhere.

Many sheriffs are refusing to enforce the order. There is a list in this article. An excerpt:

“The order states that authorities can fine repeat offenders up to $250, but says offenders cannot be detained or jailed. Several counties said this language makes the rule nearly impossible to enforce, because stopping people could be seen as detaining.”

I hear from readers all over the country on this issue. My impression is that these mandates are a lot of sound and fury, which Our cowardly Rulers refuse to enforce. They’ve drafted entrepreneurs, corporations and the Masked Morons to confront us instead.

Too bad the recruits don’t realize this and refuse to “work” for free.
