Trump is a crony capitalist, a mercantilist, s statist, a redistributionist, a warmonger (especially in the Middle East), a patriot. That is, he’s a Republican conservative. So why would I welcome him to the GOP presidential race? First, because the bombastic businessman is fun, but most of all because he will monkey wrench the entire process. Jeb and Mario, to start, are about to be fried.
Compare him to the sour-faced drab men, eyeing our throats as they finger their knives, or the smiley-faced pick pockets, who caress their razor blades. Welcome, Mr. Entertainment.
