NYPD budget

Writes Greg Privette:

Hi Lew,

I saw an article on Infowars indicating De Blasio says they are going to achieve “real reform” by cutting $1B from the NYPD budget. It is being done “with an eye on safety”! At least this is a sort of 180 degree change for government. Usually any “reform” of any agency involves increased budgets. No matter what the agency failure is the root issue seems to always be lack of funds and personnel. I find it interesting that this is the first case I can ever remember where the political class has decided the root cause of an issue to be the agency has too much money!
