Funny Susan Rice Denials
April 4, 2017
She did no “inappropriate” spying. Oh. OK. Also, she “didn’t leak nothing to nobody,” meaning she leaked something to somebody. Note too how the reporter says Trump “extorted” the media when she means he exhorted them.
note: as soon as this post went up, extorted disappeared.
Writes James Feltus:
Lew,
I think the extorted/exhorted error has a companion: formal/former.
Rice said, “As a formal U.S. official, I would want to be helpful in that process if I could.”
Writes Daniel J. Cohn:
Lew, that interview was one of the most painful I’ve ever watched. Mrs. Greenspan failed at her simple task to ask probing questions—a task long lost on the MSM, to be sure—and Rice was incoherent and babbling in her “answers”. It was almost as if the viewer needed a decoder to make sense of the proceedings. On the bright side, the interview managed to unintentionally confirm that the dastardly Rice was engaged in “politicizing intelligence”.
