Why a $15 minimum wage? If the state can raise people’s wages by edict, why not $150 an hour? $1500? We’d all be rich. As Murray Rothbard pointed out, all the minimum wage can actually do is outlaw jobs below a certain figure. Unions like this, since it hampers their competition (through the destruction of lives).
