Why Does the U.S. Give Foreign Aid to Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti calls for destruction of churches in region. Of course, the U.S. shouldn’t give foreign aid to any country, but this is especially troubling. And I would say that no matter religion was being targeted.
