Were the Dutch Founders of New York City Social Justice Snowflakes?

December 23, 2019

New York Governor Andrew “Godfather” Cuomo thinks so.  He vetoed legislation that had almost unanimous support in the New York state assembly that would allow federal judges in the state to perform marriage ceremonies.  His reason:  Some of the judges are Trump appointees, and Trump supposedly opposes the “cornerstone” philosophy of the Dutch explorers/entrepreneurs who founded New York City (Originally called New Amsterdam) — “diversity, tolerance, and inclusion” (the mating call of all daffy Leftists like Godfather Cuomo).
