Vouchers and Terri Schiavo
March 30, 2005
I get the strangest responses when I write against vouchers. I received the most radical one to date after WND linked to my recent LRC article, “The Great Voucher Fraud“:
“All that verbage to say what is obvious, to God and the whole country. Why don’t you come on out and say: ‘Let’s euthanize the poor, the uneducated.’ Perhaps we could include those dependent on Social Security, ill and unpopular. All of these, along with Terry Schiavo. ‘Let only those who are Libertarians live.'”
The author then indicated that he sent copies of his response to Joseph Farah and George Bush.
Since when is not advocating an income transfer program akin to murder?
