Interestingly, the adults many years ago wouldn’t have allowed the government to oppress them any more than they’d allow their kids to annoy them. We had discipline in the home and adults who weren’t afraid to speak truth to power. Immigrants rushed to assimilate their families into American culture and the word “American” referred to most of us living here.

Of course our transition to ignorant and apathetic weakness was before we had Bibi Netanyahu and Israel to lead us.
