Veteran Criticized for Parking in Veterans Parking Space
June 15, 2016
But not by me. “This parking is for Veterans, lady. Learn to read & have some respect,” said the note left on the woman’s car. Turns out that the woman was a veteran. Although I think special parking for veterans is ridiculous, I believe in a free society. As long as it is not government mandated, any store should be able to have special parking spaces (or not have special parking spaces) for anyone: veterans, handicapped, gays, transgendered, pregnant, the obese, blacks, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, Democrats, Republicans, libertarians. But woe be to the store that tries to have special parking for straight, white males.
