There are Slaves in the U.S.! (No Kidding)

A headline in the Sept. 23 Washington Post announced that there are “10,000 slaves in the U.S.” The article went on to cite a Berkeley, California group that says many immigrants work for so little that they are effectively slaves.
Slaves in the U.S.? Let’s see, the labor force is approximately 130 million, every one of whom is a tax slave who works for months and months for someone else’s benefit. If the Berkeley group says there are 10,000, that means they are off by 129,990,000 according to my calculations.
