A friend sent an article with the headline “Linus Torvalds Admits He’s Been Asked To Insert Backdoor Into Linux.” He writes:

While Linux is open source, Linus Torvalds is the sole creator of that open source core. This tells us NSA has attempted to corrupt him even though any corruption would be visible and exploitable by anybody with the resources to check like the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, etc. This is more evidence the NSA cares nothing about the regime’s stated enemies or terrorists. All it cares about is spying on common Americans, and it doesn’t care if the Russians, Chinese, Iranians and Israelis do the same.
