“Gov. Rick Scott [of Florida],” says a report about Hurricane Irma, “…asked the governors of Alabama and Georgia to waive trucking regulations so gasoline tankers can get fuel into Florida quickly to ease shortages.” He’s also “suspended” tolls throughout the state.
Intriguing, isn’t it, that the State itself admits its nonsense harms and hinders when an emergency impends.
