We were 19 (!) for Thanksgiving at our friends’ place here in Florida. A grand time that included kids from 4 to ~70 y.o. No fear masks but rather, a good bit of familial (respectful, consensual) hugging.
I take it Joe Biden wasn’t there then.
It was clear, this was a needed relief for everyone from the lockdown zones (in our case, NJ, NC & OH). And to gild the lilly, beautiful weather on Turkey Day: sunshine, fresh air and cool breezes.
I referred to the event as the “Great Sarasota Super Spreader and Turkey Funeral.”
