Mitch McConnell was elected Senate Majority Leader yesterday. According to Roll Call: “He won a voice vote without opposition and was treated to a standing ovation.” Why no opposition? What happened to all the “conservative” and “libertarian-leaning” Republicans in the Senate? Shameful.
