Re: Tom Cotton

Michael, Sen. Tom Cotton recently had an exchange with a DOD official in which he said: “In my opinion the only problem with Guantanamo Bay is there are too many empty beds and cells there right now. We should be sending more terrorists there for further interrogation to keep this country safe. As far as I’m concerned every last one of them can rot in Hell, but as long as they don’t do that they can rot in Guantanamo Bay.”

I’ve got a better idea. Let’s keep Guantanamo open but send there all the warmongering Republican senators (sorry for repeating myself) who have funded the sending of thousands of U.S. soldiers to their deaths in senseless and immoral foreign wars. And since enhanced interrogation techniques are not torture (at least according to warmongering Republican senators), why don’t we let the families of dead American soldiers use these techniques on these senators until they confess that they are partly responsible for the deaths of the loved ones of these family members.
