Karen, Floridians don’t have to be ordered to put window tinting on their cars, as the Schwartzenistas in CA are forcing drivers to do.  No, the “problem” in Florida is that there is too much window tinting, which prohibits the cops from peering into cars to see if everyone is wearing a seatbelt.  As of July 1 there is a fine of about $100 for anyone not wearing a seatbelt while in a moving  automobile in Florida.  They’re working on legislation to limit the darkness of window tinting to facilitate tax collection.
