In my previous LRC blog, Behind the Curtain, I pointed out that the Jane Mayer New Yorker article, “The Reclusive Hedge-Fund Tycoon Beyond The Trump Presidency: How Robert Mercer exploited America’s populist insurgency,” would “set the tone and provide the deadly intellectual ammunition for attacks on Donald Trump and his closest circle of consiglieres, strategists, and intimate advisors over the next several years.” The above Abby Martin expose’ regurgitates virtually the same savage vilification and same cast of characters (but throws in the left’s favorite racist poster boy David Duke into the mix with Steve Bannon, the Koch brothers, Robert Mercer, Andrew Breitbart, Alex Jones, and Matt Drudge).
