As a college student I was a dedicated monthly reader of the National Lampoon humor magazine, from the very first issue. In these present humorless Woke days of Critical Race Theory, cancel culture, identity politics, political correctness, and cultural Marxism, it is instructive to look back on one particular issue, which could never be published today in 2021.
The September 1972, Volume 1, No 30/Boredom issue contained a hilarious article, “Our White Heritage.” “Our White Heritage” begins on page 87.
