Perhaps because most of them are sociopaths, politicians are the same the world over: corrupt, cruel, and tyrannical. Even courteous Canada languishes under a regime whose goons manhandle female reporters asking unapproved questions and whose chief ruler callously shrugs off the persecution Christians suffer on his watch (with his encouragement?).
