“New Years Eve” in Florida

I was out of town over the weekend, but last night a restaurant manager friend of mine said that the weekend on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, FL, which is lined with restaurants and bars, was “like New Years Eve.”  This was because on Friday Governor DeSantis lifted all “COVID” lockdown restrictions and all the bars and restaurants opened up with 100% capacity for the first time since March.  Apparently, the people kind of like freedom and are not as enamored with being treated like slaves as our rulers think.

On the other hand, I read that upon hearing about all of the elation in Florida Anthony Fauci, who has praised Cuomo and DeBlasio for doing such a “good job” handling the virus in New York, went on televison to say that because Florida has fully opened up, “it is in a bad place.”

A pipsqueak Fauci follower, weasely little Mayor Dave Kerner of Palm Beach County, a sufferer of “small-man syndrome,”  held a press conference to stutter and stammer about how HE still had “authority” to REGULATE, well, just about all aspects of our lives.  He must have used the word “regulate” fifty times in a fifteen minute crying jag.  He apparently believes getting elected mayor grants him more powers than Joseph Stalin ever had.  Every single one of these lockdown mayors and governors need to be sued personally for all the economic destruction they have caused.
