Military Core Values

The White House and the Pentagon have voiced regrets for newly published photographs that purport to show U.S. troops posing with the bodies of dead insurgents in Afghanistan. It is against America’s “core values,” said Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who issued an apology. Of course, killing the insurgents in the first place was okay. No apology will be forthcoming. But, some will say, they were trying to kill U.S. troops. You mean U.S. invaders and occupiers? What would you do if armed Muslim troops paraded down your street? Think about it.
