“The California National Guard enticed thousands of soldiers with bonuses of $15,000 or more to reenlist and go to war.” Now the military wants the money back—with interest. Naturally, many former soldiers—some of whom have severe injuries—are highly upset. Never trust anything the military says. And especially recruiters.
