Leviathan the Lunatic

The Feds are funny (as in “laughably insane,” “foolish,” and “peculiar”) folks. They “have just launched an anti-tobacco campaign [sic for ‘propaganda’] focused on young adults who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender … [to] show that living tobacco-free is an important factor in leading a long and healthy life.” Hmmm. Do you suppose these “young adults” are so busy with their assorted perversions that they’ve somehow missed the ubiquitous “campaigns” “focused” on the general population announcing the same thing? Indeed, at this point, it would seem as if anyone still smoking tobacco has pretty much decided, “The heck with it, I enjoy this, leave me alone.”

I’ll also bet these consumers would prefer Our Rulers return the $35.7 million stolen from the “tobacco companies” to finance this agitprop and forego hectoring them about the evil weed. Maybe the industry could actually reduce its product’s price if it weren’t constantly feeding Leviathan’s insatiable maw.

Finally, given the rates of mortality that result from such deviant pastimes (N.B: no one can “be” lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender; there are no such genes, chromosomes or even body-parts. Rather, individuals choose to indulge in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender behavior), isn’t advising them that cigarettes aren’t healthy akin to warning sky-divers that the sun causes skin-cancer?
