But I guess you already knew that. In his speech after his loss to Trump in the Indiana primary, Cruz said: “Every one of us has an unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” He doesn’t believe that for a minute. As Solicitor General of Texas he backed the outlawing of sex toys. And throughout his political career, he has opposed the legalization of marijuana. In the mind of Cruz, no one has the right to pursue happiness unless such happiness is approved by the government. And yet this liar was promoted by Liberty University and supported by many conservative Christians. And no wonder, for both groups agree with Cruz’s ideas regarding the pursuit of happiness.
