Keynesian Wins ‘Nobel Prize’ in Economics

The prize, founded and funded not by Alfred Nobel but by the Swedish central bank, went to Jean Tirole, a French statist and econometrician (if I don’t repeat myself). Here’s the NY Times’s happy report on one of its comrades, and here is the interesting prize press release.
