The man who composed most of the early ‘James Bond’ movie scores (the movies starring Sean Connery or Roger Moore as ‘James Bond’) has died. Barry also composed notable music for such films as Born Free, Somewhere in Time, and Kevin Costner’s 1990 award-winning directorial debut Dances with Wolves. (Barry won Academy Awards for Best Score for Born Free , Out of Africa, and Dances with Wolves.)
