The partisan, warmongering Republicans will oppose it no matter what because it is Obama’s deal, not Bush’s deal or Reagan’s deal or some other Republican president’s deal. I am not a big fan of the deal, but neither am I a big fan of the U.S. government meddling in the Middle East and killing Persians. I suspect that if Obama launched a preemptive tactical nuclear strike against Iran and killed half of the population, Republicans in Congress and conservative talking heads like Hannity would cheer. Privately for certain, and perhaps even publicly. Republicans are incorrigible warmongers. That is reason enough to oppose them no matter how many times they vote to repeal Obamacare.
