House Democrats Begin Witch-Hunt

Rep. Jerry Nadler, leading the House Democrats in the witch-hunt, began the witch-hunt with a salvo of document requests from Trump people and organizations.

Trump is the witch-hunt’s top target, but any lesser persons who can be burned at the stake will further Democrat goals. The Democrats’ goals are to persecute Trump, hound him, disgrace him, make him look bad, limit his activity as president, destroy him politically and drive him from office.

Democrats seek political advantage through this misuse of power.

A witch-hunt is a campaign of persecution “directed against a person or group holding unorthodox or unpopular views.” The Democrats’ goal is subversion. Its goal is to overturn the 2016 election and prevent Trump from carrying out the program for which he was elected.

Nadler’s witch-hunt is traitorous.

Nadler has said “it’s very clear the President obstructed justice.” This charge against Trump cannot be taken seriously. Has Trump eliminated witnesses? Has he instructed witnesses to lie? Has he threatened witnesses? Has he destroyed documents, e-mails, tapes or computer hard drives? Has he suborned perjury or committed perjury? Has he failed to deliver requested documents? If this is so clear to Nadler, show American voters the evidence. If it’s so clear, why is Nadler requesting documents from so many sources?

There has not been a justice issue and justice process for Trump to thwart in the first place. The “collusion with Russia” charges have been baseless from the get-go. The Mueller investigation has been baseless from its start to its finish. Trump cannot have obstructed justice in this matter.

Nadler says “It’s our job to protect the rule of law. That’s our core function. And to do that we are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption and into obstruction of justice.”

Nadler isn’t doing his job by going after Trump. There is very real and deep corruption in Washington. There has been and still is very real and deep abuse of power. Nadler’s investigations of Trump have entirely different goals than he claims them to have.

If Nadler were serious about abuses and corruption, he’d investigate Hillary Clinton, the FBI officials who opened a file on Trump, John Brennan, James Clapper and Barack Obama. He’d need to investigate Mueller and his cohort. A very recent allegation involves Ocasio-Cortez.

Trump is being hounded almost solely because he actively leads by speaking out, and he often criticizes others who have power and influence. He is not at all shy about expressing his opinions. Is speaking out as president a crime?

Nadler and the House Democrats are on a witch-hunt. They will become targets of Trump’s tongue, and then they will accuse Trump of further obstruction. Trump is being singled out because the Democrats want to shut him up. They want to shut up Trump voters and supporters. They want to halt criticism of the “swamp”, the Washington corruption, the MSM and the deep state.

A witch-hunt of this scope is almost sure to find some skirting or breaking of laws. Judging from past Democratic practices, Nadler and fellow Democrats will do everything they can to manufacture, amplify and advertise false charges. They will build a narrative in which Trump is the evil spider at the center of a web of deceit, deception and wrong-doing. They will project their own traitorous behavior onto him.

In seeking to thwart the 2016 election by these nefarious means, Democrats stand a very good chance of revealing their true foul faces behind their moral posturing.
