Are you surprised? John Paul Stevens just wrote an op-ed for the NY Times arguing that the Second Amendment should be repealed. But as I pointed out here, repealing the Second Amendment would mean absolutely nothing since there is no authority granted to the federal government by the Constitution to ban, regulate, or otherwise infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
