Compare the opening ceremonies for the coming-down of the Berlin Wall in 1989 (Beethoven’s 9th performed) to ceremonies for opening of the Gotthard train tunnel in Switzerland in 2016 with its satanic ritual. Same type of people in attendance: politicians/élite. Quite a change in “taste,” no? Interestingly, the time frame between the two events is twenty-seven years, which is about one generation — is that just chance?
