Enumerating More Contempt for the Census

October 9, 2020

With regards to the decennial census (say that 10 times fast!), Jim in Oxford, Michigan, reminds us that

the federals don’t need the census anymore—they have the income tax forms. They already know how many people are living where. Article I, Section 2 was written before the 16th amendment.

Meanwhile, the NSA and other agencies that spy on us no doubt estimate very accurately how many serfs reside at each address.

So in addition to all its other charms, the census is a sham. But the Feds thereby maintain the fiction that their bureaucrats don’t divulge the vast troves of information they collect on us.
