Dumb, Dumber, and without a Clue

First there was the dumb solider. Then there was the dumber sailor. Now the dumber one shows us that he is completely without a clue. In response to my recent article “Is Joining the Military the Right Thing to Do?”, the sailor writes with this reason for joining the military: “I joined not because I hate the enemy before us, rather because I remember how we were attacked in our home with no reason.”
With no reason? Can a member of the U.S. military be this clueless about U.S. foreign policy in the 20th century?
