The defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in a Virginia Republican primary shows that liberal attacks on the Citizens United decision regarding campaign financing are all wet. Cantor outspent his opponent 40 to 1 and still lost by 10 percentage points. And I have pointed out before that had Obama spent every dollar in the world on radio, TV, Internet, and billboard advertising for his reelection campaign, I still would never have voted for him.
