The Central Issue of 2016: To Challenge, Expose, and Dismantle the Deep State

March 18, 2016

The central issue in this critical 2016 presidential election is to challenge, expose, and dismantle the leviathan deep state, especially its expositional growth from 2001 under the Bush and Obama regimes.

Earlier this week I asked rhetorically “Will Trump Declare War Upon the Deep State?” That remains a guardedly ambiguous question.

But on the other side of the deep statist aisle there is no such question posed. Hillary Clinton is the very embodiment of the deep state.

But it is not too late for tens of millions of the American people to rise up and demand the surgical rooting out this cancerous monstrosity embedded deep within the body politic. This frontal assault can be led on every election ballot in all fifty states by two courageous and indomitable champions who know the utter iniquity and horrific consequences to American liberty and the rule of law caused by the deep state as few others.

I speak of Andrew Napolitano and Edward Snowden.

The Libertarian Party National Convention will meet on May 26-30, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. The LP will be on ballots in all fifty states. If the assembled Libertarian delegates retain any strategic foresight, vision, and integrity, they will overwhelmingly chose Napolitano and Snowden as their standard bearers, who will lead this sacred crusade to once and for all restore the republic and end the empire.

UPDATE: For eight years federal and state election officials and courts, and the mainstream media have studiously ignored and deliberately avoided serious legal challenges to the Constitutional qualifications of presidential office seekers Barack Obama, John McCain, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio, in terms of not holding the mandated status of “natural born citizens.”  Although he is indeed wise beyond his years, the heroic Edward Snowden is only 32 years old, three years short of the 35 year minimum set by the Constitution for holding presidential office. No doubt our politically correct ageist establishment would thus scream with outrage at his vice-presidential candidacy as much as they have remained mute regarding the above worthies. In his stead, I suggest that the Libertarians nominate the impeccable award-winning investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald as running mate to Andrew Napolitano challenging the draconian deep state.
