CDC Libertarians Double Down on Their “Defense” of Property Rights

After Biden’s decree that businesses with over 100 employees must require them to be vaccinated, I see that CDC libertarians—who rarely utter an unkind word about how the Civil Rights Act of 1964 destroyed the rights of private property, freedom of assembly, freedom of association, free enterprise, and freedom of contract—are doubling down on their “defense” of businesses requiring that their employees and/or customers get the Covid vaccine. If you believe in private property, they say, then business owners should have the right to decide whom they employ and do business with. That is certainly true, and something that I have written about for years. But there is nothing “libertarian” or “free market” about private businesses requiring vaccines for their workers and vaccine passports from their customers when it is all in response to pronouncements, pressure, and propaganda from the unholy trinity of the Biden administration, the CDC, and the news media.
