Can the U.S. Military Defend America without the Kurds?

October 23, 2019

Obviously not, according to to Mitch McConnell and almost all the rest of the Washington establishment.  We must not “abandon the Kurds” by withdrawing from Syria — ever — they say, or the dreaded ISIS will re-emerge.  They are telling us, in other words, that in reality the U.S. military is so lame, so inept, so useless, that it needs “the Kurds” to prevent itself from being annihilated in Syria.  It is their last desperate lie.  One hopes that the majority of the American public is not so ignorant and mindless as to believe it.
