Border Patrol Agent?

I am sometimes asked what I thought of someone joining the Coast Guard or the Border Patrol instead of the military. My short answer is always that the war on drugs makes it difficult to do either in good conscience. Here is another reason why I don’t think too highly of Border Patrol agents: “I Was Locked up Because I Went to a Texas National Park without My Papers.”
