Bernie Sanders “Hearts” the Pope

February 24, 2016

Not because he’s ever met the man but because, says Bernie, the pope is a fellow socialist who believes, as Bernie does, that he can help the poor by destroying capitalism, the sole source of prosperity, job creation, and poverty reduction in the world.

If this President of the United States thing doesn’t work out for him Bernie would make a good Jesuit, maybe even as president of Loyola University-New Orleans which proudly labels itself as “Social Justice University.”  (“Social Justice” is of course just another euphemism for the “S” word, socialism, just like “economic democracy” or “liberation theology”).
