Russia’s military action in Syria has changed the calculus considerably. The US and its allies are scrambling to condemn Russia for joining the fight against ISIS and al-Qaeda. Saudi Arabia, which has slaughtered more than 2,500 innocent civilians in Yemen over the past five months, is warning Russia about civilian casualties in Syria.
