Andrew Cuomo Should Be Charged with Negligent Homicide

In New York State, business people and their employees should bring lawsuits against every official, from Cuomo on down, who has closed down their operations and caused them immense losses. By the same token, individuals and customers who have been harmed by their edicts should sue for damages. They should bankrupt the State. It deserves to be bankrupted. Taxpayers of New York should not be further robbed by the State to pay these damages.

New Yorkers should stand up firmly against Cuomo’s lockdown edicts. There should be major legal resistance against him and his lockdown orders. There should be court injunctions immediately against carrying out his orders.

In addition, there should be sworn out a warrant for Cuomo’s arrest for negligent homicide. Cuomo has been criminally negligent, which is an established crime category. This is in reference to his nursing home edicts.

Cuomo has no authority to order counties to close down business operations unless they meet the criteria that he has laid down. The full force of law should be brought down against Mr. Cuomo. Counties should ignore Cuomo altogether and re-open right away. The governor of New York, supposedly a republic, has no legal power to act as a totalitarian and issue broad dictates about who shall be open for business and who shall not.

If legal methods against the State do not work to re-open businesses, then further measures are available. Prime among them is simply mass disobedience. Indeed, there is a strong case for launching mass disobedience right now, as a matter of simple survival.
