A Father Comments

The father of the young man who killed nine people at a college in Oregon was interviewed on CNN. He asked “how on earth could he compile thirteen guns,” then placed the blame for such killings on guns! “That’s what guns are, the killers.”

Asked about his son’s mental state the man replied “obviously, somebody who goes and kills nine people has to have some kind of issue. Whatever it is, let the police determine what they find” (emphasis added).

After reciting the politically-correct mantra about guns being the cause for murders, I wonder if this father will have occasion to reflect on his skills as a parent!
