Hi Lew,
In the Political Theater post “Why obscenely paid Fauci survives”, I clicked on the link embedded in the article that goes to another article listing the 10 highest paid federal employees. Fauci was of course #1 as the article says. What I found just as interesting though is the other nine were also listed as; Agency – HHS and Occupation – Medical Officer, same as Fauci. It appears working in the HHS bureaucracy not only provides great opportunities for pharmaceutical company graft, but has a great direct financial benefit from salary. I am sure they are all just dedicated Public Servants though who are well worth the money! Who would have thought there was another agency that actually rivals the Pentagon for graft, corruption, and inflated salaries!
