Van Morrison’s Delightful New Politically Incorrect Album

Writes Ginny Garner:

Hi Lew,

Happy Friday

Northern Irish songwriter/singer/producer Van Morrison was one of the few notable musicians who spoke out against the lockdowns and he even recorded four songs about them. He has released the new album Latest Record Project, Vol. 1 that is stirring up controversy. At 75, his voice still sounds great and some of the 28 songs are about love or non-political topics but it’s the ones with politically incorrect lyrics that is getting him some harsh criticism. He is being called a man with white privilege, antisemitic, paranoid, a conspiracy theorist, dangerous, deranged, tinfoil hat wearer, crazy, and insane. Sounds like he anticipated the criticism. His song “Jealousy” says people say things about him because “You think I’ve got it made/Cause I’m not a slave/To the system like you.”

One song is “They Own the Media” –

They control the narrative, they perpetuate the myth
Keep on telling you lies, tell you ignorance is bliss
Believe it all and you’ll never get, nеver get wise
To thе truth, ’cause they control everything you do

Western Man –

Western Man has no plan
‘Cause he became complacent
Stopped believing in himself
Let others steal his rewards
While he was dreaming

“Double Bind”

It’s always the opposite of what they say
‘Cause they know people are easy prey
Have to police everyone’s mind
Nowadays you have to be careful of everything you say
But it’s all by design
That’s why we have to break the double bind

“He’s Not the Kingpin”

He’s not the kingpin

He’s just a fall guy

Don’t have the knowhow

Follow the money

Research it further

Follow the media

What’s their agenda?

“Blue Funk”

Got to get out of this blue funk

Stop listening to the mainstream media junk

Look how far we’ve sunk
